The University of California, Berkeley Men’s Lacrosse Team is seeking a Men's Assistant Coach and Offensive Co-ordinator

Available: Immediately. Fall season starts the first week of September.

Position Description: The University of California, Berkeley Men's Club Lacrosse team is looking for an assistant coach/offensive co-ordinator for the upcoming season. We are looking for a well-qualified candidate who has had coaching experience at the college level, though it is not a necessity. Salary and benefits are negotiable and dependent on qualifications.

Assistant coach will be required to attend all practices, games, and workouts. The team practices 3 times per week in the fall from 4-6 PM Monday, Wednesday and Friday from the first week of September until the third week of November. During the spring season, the team practices Monday-Friday, 4-6pm with games typically on the weekend.

The candidate must have a broad knowledge of the game, coaching skills and experience, and a particular understanding of offensive skills and strategies.

The assistant coach/offensive co-ordinator will direct Cal's offense, help run practices, and work with Head Coach Nourse and Assistant Head Coach Langkammerer in games.

Over the past three seasons, the Golden Bears have returned the team to the national scene, three straight WCLL semi finals and one final. We are looking for a coach to join coaches Nourse and Langkammerer in further elevating the program.

The successful candidate will be required to complete CPR/AED and first aid certification as well as complete University required courses in ethics and sexual harassment.
