The Santa Clara University Men’s Lacrosse Team is seeking qualified applicants for the vacant position of head coach for the 2009-2010 season and beyond. Santa Clara University is a part of the Western Collegiate Lacrosse League (WCLL), which is a competitive division of the Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA).

The position of head coach will be responsible for: (1) representing the team to the WCLL and MCLA; (2) scheduling games; (3) ordering equipment; (4) having a thorough understanding of university, league and national rules and regulations; (5) interacting with prospective players; (6) assisting in the development and maintenance of university and alumni relations; (7) assisting with fundraising; (8) working the full academic year with time commitments of approximately 6 hours a week in the fall quarter and 12 hours a week in the winter and spring quarters; (9) additional time required for games, travel, scouting, recruiting, and fundraising

Minimum requirements: (1) bachelor’s degree; (2) collegiate lacrosse experience; (3) prior coaching experience; (4) flexibility of schedule

Salary: Competitive within the league.
