I think what would be interesting to see is if we could get the rosters of each team in this tournament. Then we can see the type of representation we get from the bay area and other areas from CA. Always nice to see players we have played with, against and/or coached now playing on a high profile tournament like this.
For Example, I do know that a majority of players on Olympic Club and West Sunset will be kids that have graduated from SI.

Most of the SI kids are on the West Sunset team, not so many on the OC team. West Sunset is missing Roy Lang & Parker Brown this year, as they are interning back on the east coast.

West Sunset won their 2 games on Saturday, 20-1 over Chico and 11-3 over Clif Bar.

West Sunset beat OC in the semifinal game, 13-9', but lost in the championship game to the SD Tropics, led by Pierce Bassett's play in goal, by a score of 11-6.

Fantastic weekend of lacrosse...

Highlights, in no particular order:

Kelly Quinn attending his first ever Tahoe Lacrosse tournament and meeting Jack Pierce (still suiting up for Golden Gate at age 64) on the sidelines - with Keith Denebeim laughing that he'd never seen them together before

The famous Golden Gate team resurrected by Jordan Pierce - who can forget their 3 consecutive State Club Championships in '82-84, led by #10 Dan Nourse? Such a famous old squad...love those green shirts (and the memories)

Logan Quinn playing for Clif Bar putting in 2 goals against SF Presidio's goalie Niko Dutra and Clif winning by 1. Only the shirts change, sometimes.

UCSB-alumni team Mountain Top ("Muffin Top" according to spectators) having an apparent height requirement of 6'2". And against Dub-C (short for WCLL, as in the old Western College Lacrosse League - Dub C is former WCLL All-Stars), having an apparent goal requirement of 0.

Marin losing to SD Tropics. When you've won 10 out of 20 Tahoe Tournaments, your FOGO is Booth, your lefty shooter is Lorne, and all 3 Outlaws coaches are on the field, you kind of expect to be in the finals. Instead, all 5 mentioned spent Sunday at the beach - in good humor because if you have to lose somewhere, Incline Village is not a terrible place to hang out.

Oakland-based Team Clif Bar with a roster containing famous ref Andy Still (Skyline OG, from 1979) all the way up to Logan Q and Gavin Herr (Livermore HS, Whittier '14) playing West Sunset to a 4-2 halftime score (we won't talk about the second half)

Washington Woozles with brand-new flat black Warrior helmets paid for by a mysterious sponsor from Thailand (no, not Wimmer Solutions)

Chico St & St Mary's alumni teams rocking sweet new gear as always - and conspicuous absences of Slo Town Old Boys and Team Mexico: where were you guys?

Robbie Inch joining the 510 Gibbons - just one of many college players we're all so happy to see moving from the High School tournaments up into playing with the other adults.

Utah-based team's self-deprecating pinnies: SL,UT (Salt Lake, UTah). Every Cheer: "Sluts!"

Similarly good cheer - Team Dos Equis' "Stay Thirsty!"

Free Beer

Dipping in the lake between games

Fondue

Wining some and losing some, but spending the weekend with 100+ of my best friends: PRICELESS

My vote for best post of the decade.

Why we all love the game and why we all love to laugh at our ourselves and our competition in that order! Free beer and dippin in the lake! Makes me wish I was there just to laugh!

This year the tournament had coverage in lacrosseallstars.com and Inside Lacrosse recaps of each day. Woozles had a player writing for lacrosse allstars and Dos Equis had a player writing for Inside lacrosse. Good Exposure of this Summer Tournament.
