Game Day Gear - Scorer's Table

Game Day Gear - Scorer's Table

Postby PDJ » Mon Nov 16, 2009 8:36 pm

We are planning on replacing our game day equipment for the scorer's table and would appreciate recommendations for clock, air horn, and flip over scoreboard.

We used the Lax Clock (laxclock.com). I like the combination of functions but it was a bit fragile (probably abused beyond its design limits). Is there any similar product that your clubs are using and could recommend or would warn against.

Any views on air horns that use single use canisters vs refillable cans (eco-blast)?

We will also replace the flip style score board. Anyone find a durable, good size scoreboard (the parents keep getting older)? DO you prefer stand-up (a frame) models or one that hangs over the side of the table?

Any other essential equipment or recommendations?

Thanks,

What a topic! As the world's oldest Lacrosse fan, who always sits in the top row of the stands to get the best "full field" perspective, those scoreboard numbers can look mighty small. I like the stand-up models and if they have twelve inch numbers, so much the better! Windy conditions have a deleterious effect on the accuracy of hang-down scoreboards. Frankly, they suck!

Thanks for asking.
