Rhinoskin?

I don't know much about the HexPads, but I know the Rhinoskin is not supposed to be used as a shoulder pad substitute.
I think in high school, refs told us that we could get penalties for wearing only Rhinoskin.
NCAA refs seem to be very lenient and that as long as there is something on your shoulders you're fine.

Has anyone heard of the company Farrell? I bought a pair of the shoulder pads about a month ago, and after breaking them in fairly fast, I can't feel them at all when I'm playing. They're really comfortable and super light. I guess you can say that they're pretty "foamy," but take a look for yourself:

They're a little pricey, but I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for super light and super flexible shoulder pads.
