new shaft, claims to be unbrakeable

Postby rancho d-pole 45 » Sat Mar 22, 2008 1:17 pm

hey it's been quiet some time since ive been here but have a quick question.

anyone heard of or seen these yet? http://www.laststickstore.com/about.cfm

reading in a magazine they are unbrakeable. seems far fetched. total weight for the D shaft is just under 1 pound so in my mind not to bad if the claim of being unbrakeable is true. possibly worth the price? looks liek the only thing i would even think of replacing my F-15 with, all other shafts out there now havent shown me they are worth their prices but this seems promising.

The Beast is great for you big crease defensemen. im more of a takeaway d-pole when i do get the chance to play so the lighter the better the beast is overall to heavy for what i was looking at. with it weighing in at almost a pound and a half. and thats really the only problem with the Talon shafts is their weight. compare 511g (Talons Protector 60) to 398g (last sticks d-pole) since 511g is 18 ounces and there is 16 ounces to a pound thats just over 1 pound, not to heavy but then compare to 398g there would be a noticable difference. and the old F-15 is startin to take a lil more beatin, just found a new crack in it the other day. so it's gonan have to be retired soon, and really interested in the Last stick but no personal feedback from anyone so kinda iffy to spend that kinda cash.

You could always get the STX Sc+Ti Pre. or STX Scandium.
