care to expand on your post a bit? beyond the obvious style points, how's the fit, weight, flex, feel, etc.?

oh, yeah...and how deep did you have to dig in your pocket(s)?

they certainly look good, much better than the old L-35's (sans palms) that i played w/ in college. 8)

thanks for the pics... :D

No smell at all
Lightest glove that has ever been on my hand
Already broken in by a college player.

Can you explain that second question?

i didn't realize that they were a gift and was asking the price.

i'm long overdue for an upgrade and haven't priced a pair recently. but, from what i gather gloves today are pretty hi-dollar for a quality pair.

congrats on your gloves and thanks again for sharing. :D

since we're on the subject of K18's, my coach last season is an '02 hopkins grad, personally knows Kyle Harrison, and when the K18 line came out, my coach got all the products... for free. lucky, lucky guy, and so are you top shooter. those gloves look awesome.

Rapid Fire i personally know your coach and he is a great guy/ great player. Anyways back to the k18's. Dominican U was fitted with them last year. I used them over the summer at various tournaments and such and my overall concensus is they are good. The palms crust over really bad when not used and the leather starts to rip after a while. But then again I play constantly and wore them down alot. Their is a strange plastic triangle thing at the top of the glove witch provides alot of hand protection. They have great ventilation, and are pretty light. Overall a good buy.

P.S. they do get stinky

The overall reports about the K18 gloves have been very positive. My son has used his for several months and loves them. But, if light weight is what you are after, you MUST check out STX's newest glove. The G22 (G for Gary Gait) is a very light weight glove and it looks awesome. STX chose to use a lighter weight material (synthetic) on the outside of the glove rather than using leather. My only concerns would be how well they hold up in battle and how they do in wet weather. I have yet to hear from anyone who has used them and would welcome feedback from owners. Also, I see that Warrior has introduced a similar lighter weight (synthetic) material glove.

on a lighter note...

i'd imagine that a glove's weight depends upon your perspective. dinosaurs, such as myself, had few options when we first picked up a stick. one fully soaked bacharach leather glove felt like 10 pounds back in the day (even w/ the palms cut out). today's weight differences are "very" subtle to me and my friends...it's the cost that continues to amuse and amaze.
