It was fun last year to be able to go to the D2 game on Friday and then the D1 game on Saturday. Too bad that's not the same this year.

I think Carrera that the hosts schools make the request to the NCS which are generally honored. In the case of SRV the administration and coaches wanted a Friday nite game the thinking being that more kids might attend {Friday nite lights football environment }.Not so good for the real lacrosse fans like U I'm afraid. Both games should be fun to watch. Div 1 old rivals like SRV and MV and in Div 2 the continuing rivalry between Acalanes and Marin Catholic. Hope there will be some coverage in the local papers but don't hold your breath.

Well, well, well. Let's scroll back and see how many predicted Marin Catholic to repeat as NCS Division II Champions. Hmmmmm, not too many...

Superior face-off play, superior goalie play, talent, heart, effort. On the road. Back to back....

Marin Catholic wins it 9-8!

5 straight trips to the Championship, 3 rings. Back to Back NCS Champions!!!! Can you say DYNASTY?!!!!!

DIV 1
Not sure what was the basis of your thinking Roaylbluelax. The Wolves dominated the game again as they did in the two previous wins 14-4 and 15-8, They had the ball on offense over 70 % of the time. Their defense was stifling . The SRV offense took 15 shots in the first quarter that were off cage but it was clear that some shots would start to fall. As expected Carter Nichols won 80% of the face offs. The Mustangs scored their last goal with . 4 seconds left The game not really in doubt after the first quarter as Wolves built a 5-1 halftime lead. There is a nice lead article in the CCC times with picture about the game and the game will be featured on Cal Highlites TV on Sunday night. Nice to see some publicity for the sport.

DIV 2
Congrats to Marin Catholic. It appears playing a tough schedule pays off. The Dons will have to wait yet another year. Don't see much humility though with the Wildcat fans. Clearly any of the Div 2 teams were capable of winning the championship. Maybe Marin Catholic wanted it more?
