NCAA Academic All-American: Patrick Shevelson (Foothill)

The NCAA's Academic All-American team is composed of starters and key reserves who have VERY good grades. This combination of acknowledged skills and academic scholarship is the rara avis in collegiate sports.


Rare as it might be, we have one of those Academic All-Americans from the ranks of NorCal Laxers. I'm proud of Patrick Shevelson – and his family - for his being named a USILA Academic All-American from DIII Kenyon. But wait, there's more! Patrick was also named A USILA All-American as Kenyon's starting Goalie! Kenyon finished 11-4 this season and Patrick had a 0.595% save percentage!

Mike and Sharon have long been friends of ours – and they must be justifably proud of Patrick. I know we are proud of him! I'm sure all the Foothill High School Lacrosse Alums feel the same way.

As to the future, Patrick will be an Incoming Investment Banking Analyst at Brown Gibbons Lang & Company in Cleveland, Ohio.
