Cal Poly and UC Santa Cruz face-off this Thursday night in a fundraiser for Watsonville High School Lacrosse

The Cal Poly Mustangs (9-2), currently ranked #6 in the MCLA national poll, will square off against the UC Santa Cruz Banana Slugs (2-8) this Thursday, April 7th in Watsonville. The two WCLL squads will face-off at 7 p.m. in the Watsonville High School stadium in a fundraiser for the Wildcats lacrosse program.

The Mustangs are proud to support the ground-breaking Wildcats lacrosse program, which has spread the game into the Watsonville area, a small farming community with a largely hispanic population. Not only have the Wildcats been successful in fostering the growth of the game in a unique area, but they have developed into one of the stronger high school programs on the Central Coast with a 31-10 record over the past two seasons.

Come check out the high-flying Mustangs squad, who have rattled off six straight victories and are averaging over 15 points a game, and help support the Watsonville lacrosse program.
