Cherry Creek, CO has played three Section 8 teams from Long island over the past five days. The Creek Bruins have posted a couple of three goal margin wins over Plainedge and Wantagh, while losing by three in a low scoring contest to SouthSide. Nice work by a western team playing on eastern home fields!

I'm thinking the S.I. Wildcats have a better than average shot of sweeping their NY opponents in their upcoming contests. Good luck!

Yeah - I heard that Cherry Creek played at the Daniel Hand tourney (I think its in Ct) this past weekend as well. They played a bunch of schools including West Genny and other NY heavy hitters. The word on the street is that these boys can play. (All of the games were scrimmages so they won't appear in any scorebooks.)

How's the DLS / Coronado game shaking out?
