Big early season match-up in the San Diego CIF. Two teams playing well thus far in the 2009 campaign, and they have a history of aggressive competition between them. Game at 1900 tomorrow evening on Niedermeyer Field in Coronado. Should be entertaining.

Navlax76,

Good to hear from you. Sounds like a great battle of the undefeated! Can you give us a game report?

How are the sons doing?

Yes to both game report and sons report.

How's that freshman goalie with the quick hands and sharp clears?

Oops. Thursday Night Lights. Coronado put a completely dominant performance on display tonight. The Islanders held the Titans scoreless for almost three and a half periods while putting seven goals on the board themselves. Final Coronado 9, Poway 1. In early season play, the Islanders have established themselves as the leaders of the San Diego CIF. Next up for Coronado is a tilt with the Landon Bears (Coach Alex Cade's alma mater) back in MD.

The Bishop's School is playing well, albeit on occasion inconsistently. The Knights just completed a thrilling come from behind win over Torrey Pines. The Knights' conference play begins on Saturday. The youngest navlax has done well with some limited PT so far, as the Knights back-up goalie. Thanks for asking.
