Taking care of our own.

Todd French has been a long-term contributor to Northern California lacrosse. He has been an Assistant Coach at San Ramon Valley since 2007. He has also been the JV Head Coach at SRV since the 2010 season. The has been the Head Coach of Team Talon (for the U13s in 2009-2010 and for the U15s in 2011). He has also been a Head Coach for the Diablo Scorpions since 2003. In addition, he has touched the lives of many of our sons as the person who leads the Youth section of Peter Worstell's Be The Best camp which is, arguably, the best instructional lacrosse camp in the United States. He is one of us and, truth be told, one of the best of us. He gives back to the game – our game – with passion, enthusiasm, and great affection for our sons.

Todd French has cancer. His out of pocket costs for medicine are about $5,000 per month. You can read more about Todd and Team French at: http://www.goteamfrench.com/

At tomorrow night's SI v SRV game (7PM @ SRV), donation tables will be available at the entry to SRV's stadium. If you're planning to attend this game – between two teams totally stacked with college recruits – please consider making a donation to Team French. I am convinced our community will take care of its own!
